We handle everything from kitchen remodeling to basement development and full home renovations with quality workmanship and reliable timelines.

How It Works

We simplify the renovation process by breaking your project into clear stages from start to finish. You’ll know exactly what to expect at every step — from planning and construction to final inspection.

Our transparent process keeps your project organized, on schedule, and stress-free, whether it’s a kitchen remodel, basement development, or full home renovation.

Consultation & Estimating

We start by listening to what you want and what needs to be done. Then we give you a clear cost outline and a rough price range so you know what to expect before work starts.

Pre-Construction Planning

Before construction starts, we confirm the scope, materials, and key details. This helps prevent surprises and keeps the job running smoothly.

02

Permit & Planning

We prepare the drawings and paperwork needed to apply for permits with the City. This helps make sure your project can be built properly and follows the rules.

Site Supervision

We oversee the jobsite to keep it safe, on track, and done right. We check progress daily and stay on top of the details until the job is complete.

Common Questions Before You Start

1) What permits could be required?

The permits needed depend on the type of work, but common permits include:
   •    Building Permit — for most structural work or major renovations
   •    Electrical Permit — for new wiring, circuits, or panel upgrades
   •    Plumbing Permit — for adding or relocating plumbing lines/fixtures
   •    Development Permit — sometimes required for secondary suites

During the consultation, we review your scope and confirm what permits (if any) are needed for your project. In some cases, engineered documents may be required. Major structural or load-bearing changes can require structural engineer drawings and engineer’s schedules/letters as required by the City.

2) Will my renovation need permits in Calgary?

Often, yes — especially when the work goes beyond cosmetic updates. Permits are commonly required for:
   •    Moving or changing walls/structure (especially load-bearing)
   •    New electrical or plumbing work
   •    Adding a bathroom or bedroom
   •    Creating a legal suite

That said, not every renovation needs a permit. Whether permits are required depends on the exact scope of work — and we confirm this during the consultation.

Permits help ensure the work meets City requirements and passes inspection.

3) Is the price locked in once we sign?

Yes. After the consultation and once the scope is confirmed, the contract price is set.
If you decide to make changes later (materials, layout, added work), we’ll provide a clear change price and get your approval before we proceed.
